Job Description

We are hiring a Node.js Backend Developer with strong fundamentals in backend development, database management, real-time systems, and API performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable REST APIs
• Handle asynchronous operations efficiently
• Design optimized database queries
• Implement real-time features (WebSockets)
• Debug and improve API performance
• Follow proper Git workflow

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Node.js
• Strong understanding of Event Loop, Promises, Async/Await
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+, scope, type coercion)
• Experience with SQL or MongoDB (Sequelize / Mongoose preferred)
• Query optimization, indexing & projections
• Data validation & error handling
• Basic system design (real-time notifications using Socket.IO/WebSockets)
• Git knowledge (clone, branch, commit, fetch vs pull, merge conflicts)
• Debugging skills & API performance optimization (pagination, selective fields)
• Knowledge of PM2 or similar process managers (preferred)
